About Us
Total Shine Diving provides underwater hull cleaning, underwater inspection, ship husbandry, and commercial diving services along the U.S. East Coast. We support both private vessel owners and commercial ship operators with reliable, high-quality underwater maintenance. We focus on operational reliability, rapid communication, and consistency — the foundation of our slogan: We Are Here Every Time.
Founded in 2021 by Nicholas Mead, Total Shine Diving was built around the belief that the region needed a dependable, communication-driven diving company for both pleasurecraft and commercial vessels. With a background in ship husbandry, Nicholas structured the company to support both small-vessel clients and large overseas shipping agents with the same level of responsiveness and professionalism.

Nicholas Mead
Owner / Commercial Diver
ADCI-trained commercial diver specializing in ship husbandry, underwater inspection, and hull maintenance. Nicholas founded Total Shine Diving in August 2021 and continues to lead operations with a focus on reliability, communication, and professional results.
Kyle Esponoza
Commercial Diver
A graduate of The Ocean Corporation's ADCI commercial diving program, Kyle specializes in ship husbandry operations and heavy-commercial diving support. As an independent contractor, he plays a key role in our large-vessel operations and commercial project work.
Jacob Hasson
Diver / Welding Specialist
Jacob has been with Total Shine Diving since 2021. A certified welder and reliable diver, Jacob provides hull-cleaning support for private vessels and assists with internal reporting, documentation, and administrative flow.
Cyrek Tura
Commercial Diver
Cyrek joined Total Shine Diving in November 2022 with a background in ship husbandry and scuba operations. He supports both commercial and residential work, known for precision and consistency underwater.
Mark Edge
Independent Commercial Diver
Mark Edge is an experienced independent commercial diving contractor who has supported Total Shine Diving since the company's early days. Our first joint project was a water tower inspection in Richmond, Virginia — a collaboration that built the foundation of a long-term partnership. Mark owns Intracoastal Diving, providing commercial diving services across the region. His experience, professionalism, and commitment to quality have made him a valued asset to Total Shine Diving on major commercial operations and ship-husbandry projects.
